a part that doesn’t last.
I’ve been writing a few songs this week. These include the touching up of my originals “High Life”, “Lullaby (Strings of Anxiety)” , “Bury Me in Memory” as well as “Expired”. I never know what is going to come out of these songs, but I really hope that they tie in closely with my single, bringing out everything in my own style. I won’t tell you I’d be the next Katy Perry, I’m never gonna say I’m gonna be the best, I’m never saying I’m gonna be famous. Let everything take its course, with a unique style of composition I think I would be able to go into the music industry. I kind of haven’t found my own style, yet. Not just yet, but I love my style on Breathing and I’m going to start writing songs based on that.
Breathing is a style, some would rather say cliche, boring, but it’s a mix of soft rock genre within a body of Marie Digby’s Unfold. I would really love to show the whole world. But right now, It’s about the books I’m dating with, giving all my best shot with the stacks of books just laid beside me. (Not books, but rather stacks of papers, notes)
Gosh. I like Marie Digby’s Unfold Album, I need to go and buy it, right now on iTunes. I went over to see the live webcast of Marie Digby’s and she cried, literally cried on web cause she was talking on the topic of her songs that people downloading them for free and if we only knew how much effort she had put into them. I know that and that’s why I want to influence people like Ralph to stop.
Click. and everything’s in the computer without having to pay, what royalities would the artist themselves get. only 70% of whatever that they earn you know! The record labels take about 20% – 10% depending… So if you love Lady Gaga, don’t download but buy it legally online or buy the CD (i love the feel of CDs and crystal case- it’s like it’s there)
If you love Marie Digby, go get her album in stores worldwide now :)

let’s make this clear, ralph- My sister like introduced Marie Digby to me when her first single “Say It Again” came out so I’m like yeah I knew her. But I wasn’t familiar with her name and yeah I was not open to such music at that time of my life. So came in everything and I began to forget about such an artist ever existed. Then you let me hear the song “Avalanche” which you *ahem* it into your iPod with a midas click.
So then I heard the song… I went like gosh it’s not my type of music. Then slowly I became really curious of the song and there I went, asking you to allow me to listen to it for the second time and poof. I loved her so badly <3
Everyone think that this dream of mine, or rather this goal of mine is really distant and far, but hear this: I’m never giving up.
So here goes nothing for Breathing Underwater, her newest sophomore album.
Gonna work on my single like really soon as soon as this really really long-period of charity album thing + exam just fades away. Though I wrote this addictive song during Yang WZ’s lesson… I’d only release an acoustic one on youtube for preview purposes once the exams are over and the single would be arranged well (YAY) and probably work with my junior on the video :)
Or… I can even write a song out again soon. HAHA Cheng Jie was so amazed that I was writing in class -.- By the way, anyone done English Worksheet yet? I haven’t! I need to start on mugging, like seriously. stop all these music stuff and put everything on hold, until everything is over and done with. So Enjoy the serenity :)
